Toye Kumolu was born on October 10, 1976, in Kogi State, Nigeria, into a distinguished Royal Family. Raised in an environment rich in cultural heritage, Toye developed a deep appreciation for tradition, leadership, and service to the community. These values have guided him throughout his life and career.

Toye’s educational journey began in Kogi State, where he completed both his primary and secondary schooling. Following his academic foundation, he pursued a National Diploma in Kogi State before moving to Osun State Polytechnic, where he earned a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting. His academic achievements laid a solid foundation for the professional path that would follow. After completing his HND, Toye participated in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program, gaining valuable experience and contributing to his personal growth. Upon completion of his service, Toye secured a position as an accountant with a clearing and forwarding company, where he worked from 2001 to 2003. This role allowed him to apply his accounting skills in a practical setting and further develop his professional expertise.

With a growing interest in education, Toye pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE), followed by a Master’s degree in Education Administration and Planning from the National Open University of Lagos. His academic journey in education equipped him with the knowledge and skills to contribute meaningfully to the educational sector. In his professional career, Toye served as the School Administrator at St. Paul’s School, where he played a pivotal role in managing the school’s operations and ensuring its growth. His passion for education and desire to make a lasting impact led him to establish his own school in 2012, where he continued to contribute to the educational development of his community.

In addition to his educational career, Toye expanded his professional portfolio by working as an Internal Auditor at EndoGrace Nig Ltd from 2013 to 2016. This role gave him further insight into business operations and internal control systems, enhancing his expertise in audit and compliance. Seeking new opportunities for growth, Toye relocated to the United States in pursuit of a broader career path. He diversified his professional skills by obtaining various certifications in IT Audit, transitioning into the field of IT auditing. His technical expertise and commitment to excellence led him to work for Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) as the Lead Audit and Compliance Associate at the company’s Edison, NJ, headquarters. During his time at TCS, Toye contributed to ensuring that the organization’s IT systems met rigorous audit and compliance standards.

Today, Toye Kumolu is focused on furthering his academic and professional aspirations by pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Cybersecurity at Northcentral University. His dedication to lifelong learning and commitment to personal and professional growth continue to drive his success in the ever-evolving field of cybersecurity.
